A low-growing woodland plant from North America where it grows in moist, fertile, humus-rich soils in dappled shade. Racemes of tiny star-shaped white flowers appear above the foliage in spring and early summer. Green berries follow which turn red in the autumn. H&S 25cm x 100cm
