Heads of tubular, rose-pink flowers with streaked white throats are carried on slender stems above the foliage from mid-summer to mid-autumn. Part of the 'Pensham' Penstemon range which have proven to be very hardy here. The plant breeder Edward Wilson wanted to name this plant after his main propagator but when he mentioned the idea to her, rather than reveal her full name, it was suggested to call it 'Just Jayne'.
