A wonderful little European woodland plant that comes into growth in late winter/early spring. Clusters of tiny yellow flowers are surrounded by conspicuous green, petal-like bracts, very reminiscent of Astrantia to which it is related. Needs moist soil in partial shade during the growing season but will tolerate drier conditions later in the summer. Very hardy. H&S 15cm
